The median asking price reached $475,000 in the month of January, while the median home price of sold listings reached $465,000. The supply of homes available for sale decreased from 3.1 months worth of supply to 2.2 months of supply when compared to the same time last year. Additionally, the number of days on market did not change from 42 days in January of 2024. There is still very strong demand for homes in Rhode Island and a lack of inventory to meet that demand.
